Prom is highly, highly overrated. I went to three in my day, and probably would have had more fun dateless! And our exciting afterparties consisted of a school-run party at the local bowling alley. Don't be jealous!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2658142146836352561.post-49370651311588885382008-05-05T11:47:00.000-07:002008-05-05T11:47:00.000-07:00Meh, I skipped prom altogether and sent my boyfrie...Meh, I skipped prom altogether and sent my boyfriend wtih his ex, who was a friend anyhow, so she could have a date. My daughters (x2) both went with a gaggle of girlfriends and my son went to prom this year with his group of friends. It's become much more common to see people go with groups of friends or meet up with friends rather than go with a date. You're on the leading edge of the new trend!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15040465854469054042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2658142146836352561.post-48488432097480997712008-04-30T19:17:00.000-07:002008-04-30T19:17:00.000-07:00Oh my gosh, you made the right choice. I went to my junior AND senior proms with pity dates (read: nerdy, unattractive, awkward), and I'm really, REALLY dreading the day I have to show my husband my prom pictures, and then try to convince him that I was actually pretty cool.Nicolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03247404346056012728noreply@blogger.com
